Klondaika mirror: what you are really looking for and why it is risky

By Kristaps Birznieks · updated October 2026

In gambling, a "mirror" is a copy of a website on a different address. Mirrors are mostly used by operators whose main domain is blocked in a country where they hold no licence. If you are searching for a "Klondaika mirror", it is worth understanding what you are likely to find. We do not publish mirror links and we do not recommend looking for them.

Why a licensed operator does not need a mirror

An organiser licensed in Latvia works on its own registered domain. It has no reason to hide behind alternative addresses. If a site using the brand name can only be reached through a "mirror", treat that as a warning sign: either the company behind it holds no Latvian licence, or the site is a fake.

Phishing clones

The biggest risk is fake sites that copy a well-known brand's design. Their goals are:

A clone can look exactly like the original. The difference lies in the address, the company named in the terms and who receives your payment.

How to verify the address

  1. Find the organiser in the licence register. For Latvia, use the VID list and compare the company name with the one in the site's terms.
  2. Read the domain letter by letter. Fraudsters use look-alike names with an extra letter, a hyphen or a different ending.
  3. Check the payment recipient. With pay-by-bank or a bank transfer, the recipient shown in your online bank must match the organiser.
  4. Type the address yourself. Do not open links from texts, emails or chats that promise a "new address".
  5. Watch for red flags: no organiser named, payment requested to a private person's account, crypto-only deposits with no alternative, support that only talks through a messaging app.

If you have already entered your details

If you typed your password on a fake site, change it immediately on the genuine account and everywhere else you used it. If you entered card details, call your bank and block the card. If you uploaded ID copies, be aware of the identity theft risk and watch your bank accounts closely.

How this relates to our buttons

Our "See the partner offer" buttons pass through a redirect to an offer from an operator chosen by our partner network. It may not be Klondaika. We say so openly so that nobody mistakes the button for a "Klondaika mirror". How partner links work is explained in the affiliate disclosure.

A mirror changes the rules too

Even if a "mirror" looks identical, its terms, bonuses and withdrawal process may be different. If the organiser is not licensed in Latvia, VID cannot help in a dispute. The only safe address is the licensed organiser's registered domain, which you can tie to its entry in the register. How to choose a fair table is covered in live casino, the complaint route in complaints, and our general assessment in the Klondaika review.
